Sai Sudharsan
Sai Sudharsan of Tamil Nadu made his IPL debut for Gujarat Titans in 2022 and quickly made an impression, rising quickly through domestic cricket to make an IPL appearance for Gujarat.
Since then he has shown immense promise – his impressive 610 run campaign in Vijay Hazare Trophy and subsequent IPL final performance against CSK have only added to expectations surrounding him.
Sai is looking forward to making his mark against his former team and is eager to prove himself against them. An exceptionally talented player who can fill in many positions and prove an asset for any side.

He boasts an excellent record against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL games, winning four out of six matches between them and himself. He was outstanding during a 224-run chase while picking up two wickets in middle overs – both qualities that will serve him well with Titans looking to reach playoffs.
Though they were defeated by Rajasthan Royals last time out, Titans are still among the top four. This match provides them with an opportunity to secure their spot in the playoffs and they will do everything in their power to win this one.

Shubman Gill
Shubman Gill is an Indian cricketer who currently represents India at all formats of international play, earning the nickname of ‘The Prince’ for his contributions in each.
He serves as captain of India’s Test team while serving as vice-captain of its ODI and T20I squads; furthermore he represents Punjab domestic cricket teams.
Gill made his List A debut for Punjab in 2017, but his real breakthrough occurred the following year, when he was selected for India Under-19 ahead of the World Cup and scored 351 runs across four innings, including a double century and three fifties as India won.
These performances caught the attention of IPL scouts, leading Kolkata Knight Riders to purchase him at auction for INR 1.8 crore in 2018.
Since then, he has established himself as an all-rounder, scoring centuries across each format of cricket. His highest Test score was an unbeaten 126 against New Zealand at Ahmedabad which was the fourth fastest ton ever scored and broke Hashim Amla’s record by scoring double hundred runs in an ODI match at 18. He also became youngest Indian to ever record an ODI double century at just 18 years of age!
Gill is equally accomplished in T20 cricket as in Test cricket, scoring an astonishing 116 off 63 balls against England at Edgbaston – another first. Only Virat Kohli, Rahul Dravid, and Mohammad Azharuddin had previously recorded consecutive centuries in a Test series.
Gill has an impeccable work ethic and ambition. He strives to become the best in everything he does; even as a child, when practicing cricket was his priority he would wake up at 3:30 A.M to prepare. This routine continued up until passing his matriculation exams.
He was dropped for a back injury in their previous game against Sunrisers Hyderabad but looks likely to make his comeback against Sunrisers.
He will replace Karim Janat, who was bowled out for 57 by 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Additionally, Gujarat Titans hope that an injured Kagiso Rabada can be replaced by Sherfane Ruthorford.

The Gujarat Titans have been one of the surprise packages this season and they are just one game away from securing their place in the playoffs.
On Friday at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will take place their third encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad with both sides hoping for victory.
Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have led the Titans this season as prolific batsmen, scoring runs at an astounding rate and approaching record-setting milestones – Sai just short of becoming IPL history’s fastest player to 1,500 runs, while Jos stands two fours away from becoming just the sixth player ever to hit 400 fours during any IPL season alone!
Shubman Gill will make a comeback after missing the last game due to back spasms. He has been seen bowling away in nets and should replace Karim Janat. Harshal Patel has also been impressive with the ball, and will look to continue his good form in this match. His lethal dipping yorker can deceive batsmen – particularly during death overs.
Harshal earned himself an invitation into India’s national T20I squad after impressing during IPL, making his T20I debut against New Zealand on November 2021.
Washington Sundar made an early impression with an aggressive six before misjudging his run-up and was caught by Jaydev Unadkat at short fine leg.
Washington then proceeded to hit another SIX before misjudging his run-up and was caught by Aniket Verma at short fine leg on an unsuccessful full toss that missed stumps at first attempt and had to be caught again at second attempt by Jaydev Unadkat at short fine leg.

Prasidh Krishna
Prasidh Krishna, more affectionately known by his nickname of Skiddy, first came into the public eye in 2018 when he was selected to replace Kamlesh Nagarkoti at Kolkata Knight Riders.
Making the most of his opportunity with them and taking 10 wickets across seven matches. Prior to the 2022 Indian Premier League season kicking off, Rajasthan Royals bid massively and secured his services at auction for INR 12 crore – another high price tag!
Karnataka pacer Krishna has since earned himself recognition in first-class cricket, featuring in two Vijay Hazare Trophy tournaments and making debuts for India in both ODIs and T20Is; unfortunately his debuts have been cut short due to injuries.
Krishna has an excellent ability to pick up pace quickly while his height enables him to generate extra bounce on docile tracks.
Attaining great batsman reading skills, and employing clever bowling variations that trouble batsmen are among his many talents.
He excelled during IPL 2023 when paired up with Trent Boult to form one of the deadliest new-ball partnerships in the league; furthermore, during Ranji Trophy 2021-22 he achieved his maiden ten-wicket haul and established himself as an influential big game player.
