Riyan Parag’s boundary from his first delivery was the only sign of resistance until Kuldeep Yadav ran through him before wicket and removed him in front.
Though their innings eventually came to an end, the lower order did an admirable job of keeping run rates in check and remaining composed during a tense final over.

Manav Suthar unleashed an impressive burst, taking three quick wickets and quickly turning the game around. His left-arm orthodox bowling style proved particularly effective; its economy rates dropped below three runs an over. Manav’s spin bowlers forced batters to work for their runs with many drops and two runouts marring their innings.
An exciting match that had something for everyone was played out last night between India and Australia at Lord’s. From Ricky Bhui’s spectacular six to some gorgeous glovework from both teams’ young cricketers – on both teams! – stood out, but what really caught my attention were their performances as young cricketers on both sides proved that hard work in domestic cricket pays off; no surprise then that Board of Control for Cricket in India has focused on youth development initiatives.

India B’s batting shone on day four against India A, taking an impressive 76-run advantage in their Duleep Trophy match thanks to Manav Suthar’s sensational debut innings and Musheer Khan’s heroic 181 notching up their best score yet for India A in hopes of salvaging a draw result. However, ultimately this wasn’t enough and India A ultimately succumbed.
Drama, skill and sportsmanship all came together for an intense contest that truly delighted. Domestic cricket matches often go beyond simply fixtures; this match provided proof that they do. Talent abound and fans of all ages were entertained throughout. Both teams truly deserved victory at the end of this intense match!
The India A team is the developmental squad of India national cricket team. Comprised of domestic players vying to earn spots on India national team as well as some international players yet to establish themselves at senior level, this platform gives youngsters a chance to show their talent and gain confidence.
India A’s second innings batting performance suffered, as they were reduced to 174/6 at Tea. Riyan Parag’s enterprising innings saw him hit several powerful shots before Yash Dayal dismissed him for 31 off just 18 balls he faced.
Ravindra Jadeja soon afterwards caught Jurel with one nicking behind off Saini that gave Jurel her seventh catch of the match.
India A’s tail-enders made a brave effort in keeping India A in contention; but as required rates rose, nerves started fraying for visitors India A and they found themselves fighting an uphill battle until an accidental dot ball from India B’s final delivery gave them an emphatic seven-wicket win and six points.
Musheer’s incredible 181 earned him the Player of the Match award. His stunning technique against an array of spinners allowed him to pick gaps effortlessly and pick off targets effortlessly. Musheer was assisted by Rahul’s unbeaten 92 in just 122 balls; further supported by Kuldeep who took an extraordinary catch at short leg to remove Nitish Reddy from playing out his innings.
