An One Day International (ODI) cricket match involves two teams of 11 players each and is typically held over one inning, with the team that bats first attempting to accrue as many runs before their overs are exhausted – the one with the highest total is declared victorious in this format, first introduced in 1984 and becoming increasingly popular ever since; not only has this format enhanced players’ enjoyment but has also seen more countries getting involved!

At just 22 years old, this 22-year-old batsman displayed incredible batting skills that will certainly stand him in good stead for years to come.
New Zealand bowlers put on an outstanding performance on the field. Their fast bowlers dominated from the outset, taking three wickets between Jacob Duffy, Zakary Foulkes and Will O’Rourke during powerplay alone. Meanwhile, Pakistani batting unit struggled mightily against pace and bounce as one after another they succumbed.
Nawaz and Khushdil Shah made an effortful comeback for Pakistan but it proved too little too late as New Zealand managed to maintain their nerve and seal the series 3-1.
Jacob Duffy bowled a short delivery that fell straight onto Samad, forcing him to try and defend it while missing it altogether – Mitchell Hay then clipped off the bails, leading to Samad departing for his third blunder of this series.
Michael Bracewell of New Zealand was delighted with the team’s performance on the field. He noted extra bounce on the pitch, which allowed them to use shorter deliveries more effectively and was hopeful that their team will keep improving over the upcoming matches.
Nawaz and Khushdil Shah will look to find success in their innings against New Zealand in the fourth T20I, but scoring big will prove difficult under difficult conditions. Both need to work on improving their batting to maximize results in this matchup.
